Scott Build hosted the 2nd Annual ALS Charity Shoot on Thursday, June 20. We are proud to announce our sporting clay fundraiser raised $10,000 for the ALS Association this year! Thank you to everyone who donated and participated this year. Despite the rain, everyone stayed to raise money to fight ALS. We cannot thank you enough!
This year’s high gun men and women winners were Greg Grazzini and Jean Scott. Lakefield Vet took first place for the team competition, with Sportsman’s Dream Financial taking second place. The Scott Build Ladies came in third place. After the shoot, everyone enjoyed a hog roast dinner and a live and silent auction to raise even more money to combat ALS.
About ALS
The proceeds of the 2nd Annual ALS Charity Shoot will go to the ALS Association. The ALS Association supports research in pursuit of treatments and a cure for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that leads to loss of muscle action, paralysis, and ultimately, death. The ALS Association supports efforts to end ALS and provides resources to individuals and families affected by the disease.
Thank You Horse and Hunt Club
Scott would like to extend a special thank you to the Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake for hosting this fundraiser for the ALS Association for the past two years. In addition to hosting shooting events like ours, the club is a beautiful place for a wedding or other celebration. Anyone can enjoy a meal or a beverage at Trigger’s Restaurant and Bar. Members can board their horses and their dogs at the club, too.
Save the Date for June 17, 2020 for the Next ALS Charity Shoot
Thanks again to participants, sponsors, and the Horse and Hunt Club for helping make our 2nd charity shoot a success. If you missed us on the 20th, mark your calendar for June 17, 2020 and join us for the 3rd Annual ALS Charity Shoot! Check our website regularly for updates on how to register your team or sponsor the event.
