Scott Build is the Master Builder. And part of being the Master Builder is walking our talk. When we say our projects are completed on time and in budget every time, we mean it. Part of what helps us stay in budget is our guaranteed maximum price.
Scott Build tells you what it costs to finish your project.
Our competitors tell you what it costs to start it. Our guaranteed maximum price is our promise to you that what we quote you at the start of your project is what you’ll pay at the end of your project. In other words, our quote is your final cost, not a starting price.
Here’s how we can guarantee a maximum price.
It all begins in the preconstruction and design phase of your project. Once you’ve committed to working with us, we’ll talk with you about your vision for your project and thoroughly review your architect’s designs. Then, we’ll provide you an initial cost estimate you can use a ballpark figure.
Our next step is to work with the city to approve your designs and secure approval and inspections. From there, we investigate every engineering and construction option and alternative to find high-quality solutions for years to come. Included in this process is identifying materials that require a long lead time, which saves us time and money down the road. We’ll also start negotiations with subcontractors.
The last step is our preconstruction conference, when we meet with all of the subcontractors and suppliers on your project to set up a schedule and review costs. After this meeting, we’ll sit down with you to review our detailed plan and present our guaranteed maximum price.
Sound like a lot of work? It is, but that’s what makes us different. Scott knows that the more effort we put into the preconstruction and design phase, the more smoothly and economically your project will proceed. It’s part of what makes us the Master Builder.
All that glitters is not gold. Don’t be tempted by a low estimate without understanding the true cost of your project. Want to find out the guaranteed maximum price may be for your project? Get the process started by contacting Scott today.
